Malam Suai Kenal (pictures)

MSK was greeeeeeaaat!

i bet all of you enjoyed yourselves that night, right?
Chinese CF and Catholic Student Society came and had fellowship together with us.
It's so nice to see everyone jumble up, mixing around. =D

those who were involved came early for their final practice

MSK started off with chairperson explaining what is the event all about

the excited crowd!

Catholic Student Society conducted the ice breaker
we had a short game called "the staring game"

rules are very simple - you just have to look into the eyes of your friend without laughing
sounds pretty easy huh? it's actually kinda hard but lots of FUN
the whole room was full with giggles and laughters

some can keep staring till we have to call for a time-out! haha

after worship, we continued with juniors performance

big claps to them as they did a good job with the sketch!
*click on the picture* to discover some hidden power rangers X)

after that, we moved on with the seniors performance
the senior did a sketch on the history of ECF
where they explained how CF, with God's help, manage to came into campus

they then ended with acapella of the song "I know"

Chinese Christian Fellowship came up with a touching song...nice!
we had installation of the committees for 3 divisions before ending MSK

there's food! delicious food.

there's people! friendly people.

say cheeeeese YUMMY!

CF is our home and we welcome all of you to be part of this family =)

cleaning up after MSK

Malacca Tour 2010

Date : 26th June 2010

Had Malacca Tour last saturday. It was a blast! All of us were so tired at the end of the day cause we spend our time visiting places, playing games, getting to know each other and most of all, having fun!

1st stop was at hutan rekreasi. *breathe in breathe out* ahhhh...fresh air X)
We were divided into 6 smaller groups. After knowing our group members, we started off with station games. Walked around hutan rekreasi, interacting with one another especially those new comers. 5 stations in total and we had fun playing all 5 of them. It was a good time to get everyone warm up for the tour. Then, nasi lemak for breakfast!

dividing into groups

while waiting...*snap snap*

let's get started! walking towards our different stations

the 'banana game' where u have to reach-grab-eat banana like a monkey? haha

everyone is having football fever now...so, we included football in malacca tour
the
'blindfold football game'
sounds tough huh? it's all about teamwork =D

happily eating nasi lemak for breakfast

After breakfast, we were so ready to continue the tour.
2nd stop - ZOO MELAKA! Most of us might not have been to zoo for a long time, maybe since kindergarten or primary school. So that's a great chance in widening our knowledge of knowing more type of animals and looking at God's beautiful creation which we usually can't get to see outside.

Later on, we went to Jonker Street to have lunch together with our group members. At Jonker Street, there are numerous café and restaurant that sell local delicacies. *yums yums* It is also one of the 'must go' places in Malacca where you can find shops selling unique antiques, fashionable clothes or attractive souveniers.

Some groups went Calanthe Art Cafe to have their lunch

Some groups went to have yummy cheese tart *drooooools*

Next, we went to the upper floor of Cheng Ho Cultural Museum.
What we have on that floor? More photo taking sessions? Not really. We get to know the history of Christianity in Malacca. For your information, Malacca is the place where the first Chinese Bible is printed. There's even a paper with all the Christian/Catholic schools listed in it.

Done with that, we had free time to walk around malacca town with our group members to visit historical buildings and take more pictures. =P

Malacca Tour ends with dinner at Old Newton Food Court.

I must say Malacca Tour was great!
The one day spent together did not go into waste. We hope that those freshies who joined will more or less know the famous places, nice food here in Malacca and also feel more comfortable with this big cf family =)

to those who missed the tour, make sure you join us next year!
