Had Malacca Tour last saturday. It was a blast! All of us were so tired at the end of the day cause we spend our time visiting places, playing games, getting to know each other and most of all, having fun!
1st stop was at hutan rekreasi. *breathe in breathe out* ahhhh...fresh air X)
We were divided into 6 smaller groups. After knowing our group members, we started off with station games. Walked around hutan rekreasi, interacting with one another especially those new comers. 5 stations in total and we had fun playing all 5 of them. It was a good time to get everyone warm up for the tour. Then, nasi lemak for breakfast!
dividing into groups while waiting...*snap snap* let's get started! walking towards our different stations the 'banana game' where u have to reach-grab-eat banana like a monkey? haha everyone is having football fever now...so, we included football in malacca tour
the 'blindfold football game'sounds tough huh? it's all about teamwork =D happily eating nasi lemak for breakfastAfter breakfast, we were so ready to continue the tour.
2nd stop -
ZOO MELAKA! Most of us might not have been to zoo for a long time, maybe
since kindergarten or primary school. So that's a great chance in widening our knowledge of knowing more type of animals and looking at God's beautiful creation which we usually can't get to see outside.
Later on, we went to
Jonker Street to have lunch together with our group members. At Jonker Street, there are
numerous café and restaurant that sell local delicacies. *yums yums* It is also one of the 'must go' places in Malacca where you can find shops selling
unique antiques, fashionable clothes or attractive souveniers. the entrance of Zoo Melaka [from left] : little black horse, capabara, colourful parrot Jonker Walk / Jonker Street Some groups went Calanthe Art Cafe to have their lunch Some groups went to have yummy cheese tart *drooooools*Next, we went to the upper floor of
Cheng Ho Cultural Museum.
What we have on that floor? More photo taking sessions? Not really. We get to know the
history of Christianity in Malacca. For your information, Malacca is the place where the
first Chinese Bible is printed. There's even a paper with all the Christian/Catholic schools listed in it.
Done with that, we had free time to walk around malacca town with our group members to visit historical buildings and take more pictures. =P
