What's happening during exam weeks and holidays??

Hello, how are you, everyone?? Next week will be our most scary final exam week. How's your preparation?? Hope that you all doing well for your prepararion and wish you all the best for final exams.. ^^

Since our last chill out night (23rd September) at YAC, what are the other activities we going to have during holiday (20th October - 9th November)?? Activities are:

1. Malacca Camp (20-22nd October) [PIC = Joshua Tan (017-6219983)]
2. aCt II Intensive Practice Week (3-8th November) [PIC = Grace Teo (016-7887300)]

This 2 activities are our main activities during holidays. Feel like being part of us?? Just come and join us or contact the Person-in-charge (PIC)..

When is our next CF meeting?? Our CF meeting will resume on 11th November. So do not miss the 1st CF meeting for 2nd Semester ya.. ^^

Chill Out Night (NO CF Meeting)

What are we going to do next Tuesday?? Unfortunately, next Tuesday (23/9/08) we are NOT going to have any CF meeting.... until the starting of 2nd semester.. BUT... BUT... BUT... Y.A.C. will still be opened at 8pm as usual because next Tuesday will be Chill Out night. So if you are free, you still can come and join us to chill out.. but it is NOT a CF meeting. Remember, our CF meeting will resume on the 1st week of 2nd semester.

Bible Quiz (Recap)

What was happening last CF meeting?? Last Tuesday weactually had our CF meeting for the first time in campus, wohoo!!. Worship session was led by Elysia accompanied by two guitars. We had bible quiz, and there were 3 groups. It was a group activity whereby in order to get marks they have to answer the questions. Pastor Joanne prayed for Justyne Ang, Jason Leong, Zhen Xin as well for those who will be doing their industrial training next semestee.

Bible Quiz

Quiz?? Come to the end of the semester already and now got quiz?? CF got quiz?? Tension..

Bible?? Our CGs do bible study on Thursday.. We have to do bible study on Tuesday also??

Do not worry!! We are not doing bible study during CF meeting but Bible Quiz!! So remember do some preparation before coming CF ya.. Haha..

Take note that the venue will be in CAMPUS, CLCR0003!!! NOT Y.A.C.!! Because the CF meeting will be held in campus, so there will be NO transport provided.

So this coming Tuesday will be our first CF meeting in campus. This CF meeting will be different compare with the previous one!! Want to know what are the difference?? Just do come and join us and you will find out!! See you on that day!!

Prayer and Worship Night (Recap)

Did u miss the last CF meeting?? Never mind, here is the short summary.. ^^

Last Tuesday CF meeting was Prayer & Worship Night!! It started of with pre-worship lead by Jonathan Yeap and Ng Jou Chean. Then we had worship with intervals of powerful testimonies by John and Joash Yap. There were also intervals for prayers which was split to 2 categories that is personal and campus. Of course the night ended with worship songs and also sharing from the last academic final year students about their mission trip to Indonesia.

Feel sad that could not join the P&W Night?? Do nto be sad.. We will still have it during 3rd Semester.. Haha.. What's happening next week?? I do not know.. Come find out yourself.. See you!! ^^

Prayer and Worship (P&W) Night

What are the people above doing?? Yes, they are praying. Instrument can be used for what?? Yes, instrument can be used to praise and worship our God. What is black colour represented? Yes, it is represented night time.

So.. Praying + Praise and Worship + Night time = ?? Yes, the answer is Prayer and Worship (P&W) Night!!!

Next week our CF is having the P&W Night. For your information, our CF only have this P&W Night once during 1st semester and 3rd semester. So do not miss it!! That will be a great time for us!! Must come!! Hehe.. ^^ See you~~

Anger Resolution (Recap)

What we leant last week from the messages that delivered by Ps. Philip Sung?? All of it are actually as below:

From Matthew 5:22

1. Most of the time, anger relates to 'relationships'.

2. Reconciliation of relationships is often hindered by:
-Pride.
-Anger.
-Cutting off contact - physically and spiritually.

3. Responses to anger is crucial - reflects our personality.

4. How to resolve anger?
-Take initiative to apologize - even when we're not in the wrong.
-Humble ourselves - take responsibility for the conflict.
-Make restitution - sacrifice to make things right.

So must remember all these and apply it into our daily lives all the time!! ^^
